Germany and Israel condemn the Palestinian president’s Holocaust remarks
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz raised nausea on Wednesday at notes by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that the German leader said lowered the significance of the Holocaust, while Israel indicted Abbas of telling a monstrous taradiddle.
For us Germans, in particular, any gelatinization of the oddity of the Holocaust is intolerable and inferior, Scholz twittered on Wednesday. I’m shocked by the outrageous reflections made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
During a visit to Berlin on Tuesday, Abbas indicted Israel of committing 50 Holocausts in response to a question about the forthcoming 50th anniversary of the attack on the Israeli platoon at the Munich Olympics by Palestinian zealots.
Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid also condemned the commentary as a disgrace.
Mahmoud Abbas criminating Israel of having committed’50 Holocausts while standing on German soil isn’t only a moral disgrace, but a monstrous taradiddle, Lapid said on Twitter.

Standing alongside Scholz, Abbas related to a series of historical incidents in which Palestinians were killed by Israelis in the 1948 war that accompanied the creation of the state of Israel and in the years following.

Dozens of Palestinians have also been killed in clashes with Israeli security forces in the enthralled West Bank, while there have been a number of attacks on Israelis, including an incident on Sunday when eight people were wounded on a machine carrying Jewish worshippers in Jerusalem.
