After A Shooting At A Russian School, There Were At Least Nine Deaths And Twenty Injuries.
Prasannkumar An armed attack on Monday at a Russian school in Izhevsk (in the Udmurtia Region) left at least nine dead and 20 injured. The attack was confirmed by authorities.
Two of the victims were teachers, and two of the security guards were also children.
In a Telegram message, the Ministry of the Interior of Udmurtia stated that the agents had found the attacker’s body inside the center. According to all available information, he committed suicide.
He added that there have been six deaths and 20 injuries as a result of his actions.
Alexander Brechalov (the governor of the region) has spoken out about “tragedy” while pointing out that among those who have died is a security guard according to Interfax, a Russian news agency.
He also stressed that the center had been evacuated due to the shooting, and added that authorities are working in that area.
